Desmond Paul Henry

Today I discovered Desmond Paul Henry, pioneering computer artist active in the 60’s using ink plotters and various machine-generated images. Much of the images were actually created using technology designed to calculate bomb site coordinates in WWII. I love the images. Reminds me of the work of Roman Verostko.

Incidentally they also remind me of late Grandma Betson’s work. I should get around to writing a post and uploading a few images of hers at some point. She was a great influence.
